Really enjoyed Kierie’s lastest post. Wonderful to see yet more evidence of Gabe’s progress and the great photos. Sounds as though you are enjoying Bangor, with theatre and restaurant trips, plus a visit to Bar Harbor. Can’t wait to see you all in late August!

Gabe is pointed in the right direction, in his own way and own speed. AS Kierie says, it is comforting to have both Kierie and Gabe so close by, adding a sense of normalcy to this whole surreal event. Gabe’s bud, Androsh took a motorcycle trip from New Joysey to Bangor to spend 2 days with Gabe. These visits by friends are priceless. Andros stepped right up and helped Donna (and me), and won our hearts too. We all went to a July 4 cookout at Summer’s digs in Bangor, and Gabe has written simple letters to Kierie while she was on a one week bicycle trip to Cape Breton Island. Absence does make the heart grow fonder.
As trying as this whole scenario is, it has brought all of us much closer, and consequently much stronger, albeit a little tired, but that will resolve itself.
Gabe is on his I Pad daily, so e mail him. Cards too: Gabe Allen Brewer Rehab Center 74 Parkway so. Brewer Me 04412 Rm 102… Keep praying

Hi Gabe, Donna, Mike, Summer, and Kierie,

Wonderful to know you are all together again in Maine and that Gabe is continuing to make great progress. We have been sweltering here in DC this summer and I can’t wait for the cool breezes of Maine in late August. Looking forward to seeing you all again in Winterport!

Hey Gabe! I liked being able to see the recent pictures of you. looked like you were picking some yummy things out at the grocery store. Wish i could have been there to go to Dysarts with you guys!!! miss those days of going up there for late night snacks when we stayed with you guys in the summer!

Hi Chappy, Gabe says “Yeah, that would be good in a year or so.” His friend Tony is developing a tandem bike for Gabe and Kierie that will have delta sweep side wheels for while he is relearning.
